Storyboard

A quick 5 min storyboard that I drew in last week’s lecture. We had to follow the idea of a woman running out onto the road. Here I have drawn a sequence of a woman finishing a business discussion with someone inside a building. As she leaves she receives an important phone call. We then cut to a medium shot of a family fighting in the car – the kids in the back seat distracting Mum and Dad in the front. We then have an establishing shot from a higher position to see that the woman is focussing on answering the phone rather than looking at the road. We then have a close up of the woman’s face looking up and realising the danger. Back to the medium shot in the car, we see the Mum yell ‘LOOK OUT!’ and the Dad turn to see the woman on the road. We then have another long shot from a higher position – this time looking towards the woman, over the car (the opposite) – to see that the car swerve to miss the woman.
